The entire experience thus far as been beautiful, and not like anything I imagined or expected it to be. I prepared for the worse in my head before arriving, and still cannot believe how different reality compared to assumptions is, in fact all that I expected to be the most difficult has been pleasurable especially long bus rides and witnessing the reality of living conditions.

The most breath taking part of this experience thus far has been the sky and all that entails. Everyday without exception brings flawless blue skies with the most spectacular cloud formations, and awakening to darkness that slowly paints a warm orange glow upon all the lush green landscape and golden light kisses the red earth goodnight as cracked clouds of blue, purple, violet, and crimson fade slowly back into the darkness of night.

One of the most amazing experiences with the team a few mornings ago started with placing head phones on my ears, to be surprised by the magnification of so many insects, birds, and animals crying out, it is a new day, as the sun rose, piercing beams of light through the trees into our yard. To know that this is only the beginning of two months of not only witnessing so much beauty and terror, but also capturing it and sharing it with the world is a encouraging start.
